LASU COMMENCES RELEASE OF CERTIFICATES/COLLECTION EXERCISE.

The release of certificates/collection exercise commenced as planned by the Certificate Unit of the University Registry and approved by the University Management yesterday - Monday, 12th November, 2018 at the Lagos State University Auditorium, Ojo, Lagos. The exercise will be on till Tuesday, 1st January, 2019, after which an approved penalty fee will be paid by graduates who fail to come for their certificates within the stipulated period. Only those whose names are released online (on the University Website : www.lasu.edu.ng), but have not collected the certificates are affected. About Thirty - Two Thousand, Five Hundred and Twenty - Two (32, 522) certificates are ready for collection.
According to the Principal Assistant Registrar/Head, Certificate Unit; Mr. Olabode Akinrinmade " I want to advise all Graduates of the University to come forward to pick their certificates and also like to debunk the claim by some members of the public that Lagos State University is not releasing certificates...it is very untrue that LASU is not releasing certificates." Akinrinmade said. He further informed that the University has put in place all necessary measures to assist graduates who may be having difficulty in producing/presenting the required documents for the collection of their certificates.
The Registrar of the University; Mr. M Olayinka Amuni, mnim, had earlier in the day visited the University Auditorium - Venue for the exercise to monitor the proceedings.
WE ARE LASU...WE ARE VERY PROUD!!!
